Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there may be provided a method for controlling a garment processing device comprising: a tub for containing washing water; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub; a pulsator rotatably provided inside the drum; a sub-drum which is coupled to the inner peripheral surface of the drum in an attachable/detachable manner, and which contains washing water; and a driving portion for rotating the drum and the pulsator, wherein a washing process or a rinsing process is performed by performing a basket motion, in which the drum and the sub-drum are driven together such that streams of washing water are simultaneously formed inside the drum and inside the sub-drum, respectively, and a pulsator motion, in which the pulsator is driven such that a stream of washing water is formed inside the drum, the method comprising: a water stream forming step of performing the basket motion and the pulsator motion; and a cooling step performed after the water stream forming step is started such that the temperature of the driving portion, which is raised in the water stream forming step, is dropped.
