Abstract:
Provided is a gas alarm configured such that: a heating control unit extends a period of heating by a heater unit if a first determination unit determines that an electrical property of a sensing unit of a gas sensor meets a first condition, and continues the extension of the period of heating by the heater unit in accordance with a determination result from a second determination unit regarding whether the electrical property after the extension of the period of heating meets a second condition; and a gas detection unit determines that a gas subject to detection has been detected in accordance with the electrical property after the extended period.
