Abstract:
A packaging material used in packaging for food, medicine, or the like is required to have a barrier property (hereinafter, gas barrier property) with respect to oxygen and water vapor for the purpose of preventing a degeneration of the contents and flavor and a decrease in efficacy due to oxidation. The present invention provides a gas barrier laminate, the oxygen barrier property of which does not decrease even in high humidity conditions. The present invention solves the abovementioned problem by a gas barrier laminate obtained by coating and laminating, on a base material: a layer (A) obtained by coating, onto a non-aqueous solvent, a coating solution containing ethyl cellulose and an inorganic compound; and a layer (B) containing a polyvalent carboxylic acid monomer.
