Abstract:
Provided is a gas barrier laminate having a structure wherein a gas barrier layer and an adhesive layer are directly laminated, said gas barrier layer including a polymer compound and having been modified. An adhesive composition being a forming material for the adhesive layer in this gas barrier laminate contains at least a polyfunctional epoxy compound (B) and also either contains a polyolefin resin (A) or has been adjusted so as to have a moisture vapor transmission rate of no more than 200 g/m2/day for a prescribed sheet-shaped object formed from said adhesive composition. As a result, this gas barrier laminate can be a sealing material having a high suppression effect on the deterioration of an object to be sealed, as a result of having a high suppression effect on moisture penetration into the object via the adhesive layer and as a result of having high interlayer adhesion.
