Abstract:
The present invention provides a gas barrier multilayer body which is not susceptible to separation between a gas barrier coating layer and a layer that is adjacent to the coating layer. A coating liquid for the production of a gas barrier multilayer body according to the present invention contains (A) a carboxy group-containing polymer, (B) polyvalent metal-containing particles, (C) a surfactant, (D) an organic solvent, and (E) at least one silicon-containing compound that is selected from the group consisting of silane coupling agents of general formula (1), silane coupling agents of general formula (2), hydrolysis products of these silane coupling agents, and condensation products of these silane coupling agents. The mass ratio of the silicon-containing compound (E) to the carboxy group-containing polymer (A) is 0.5% or more. (1): Si(OR1)3Z1

(In the formulae, each of R1 and R3 represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R2 represents a methyl group; and each of Z1 and Z2 represents a group that contains an epoxy group.)
