Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gas circuit breaker of a gas-insulated switchgear. The present invention comprises a driving portion (10) that operates when a malfunction current occurs, and a holding portion (20) that is coupled to and separated from the driving portion (10), thereby performing an electric connection. The driving portion (10) comprises a first main electrode (12) and a first arc electrode (14). The holding portion (20) comprises a second main electrode (22) that is coupled to and separated from the first main electrode (12). The holding portion (20) also comprises a second arc electrode (24) that is coupled to and separated from the first arc electrode (14). The first arc electrode (14) and the second arc electrode (24) are separated after separation of the first and second main electrodes (12, 22), thereby generating an arc, and the driving portion (10) comprises a nozzle (16) that sprays a gas for extinguishing the arc. A first activation lever (30) is connected to a first connection link (19) to which driving power is transferred from the driving portion (10). A second activation lever (40) is connected to the first activation lever (30) so as to rotate relative thereto. The second activation lever (40) is connected to the second arc electrode (24) so as to transfer driving power from the driving portion (10) to the second arc electrode (24) in a predetermined range. The first activation lever (30) and the second activation lever (40) have a first interlocking cam (36) and a second interlocking cam (46), respectively, such that driving power is transferred to the second arc electrode (24) only in the predetermined range.
