Abstract:
The present invention provides a gas-electricity hybrid melting method suitable for basalt fiber production. Basalt is heated simultaneously by using a natural gas and a fluxing electrode, and heat energy produced by the fluxing electrode accounts for 10-30% of the total heat energy. The present invention can uniformly heat the basalt, and produce continuous basalt fibers by a tank furnace method.
