Abstract:
A gas generation device (1) for generating a gas by a reaction between an alkali and an acid, wherein the gas generation device (1) is provided with: a container (2) containing an aqueous solution (L) including the alkali or the acid; a non-woven bag (5) holding a solid (S) including the other of the alkali or the acid, the non-woven bag (5) being disposed outside the container (2); and an absorbent wick (3) and an absorbent mat (4) in contact, in the container (2), with the aqueous solution and in contact, outside the container, with the solid; the acid having poor water solubility.
