Abstract:
A gas generator (1A) comprises: a housing to which an igniter (40) is assembled on one end side in an axial direction, and in which a filter (90) is disposed toward the other end in the axial direction; and a sealed container (60) in the inside of which a gas generating agent (70) is accommodated, and which is disposed between the igniter (40) and the filter (90). The sealed container (60) includes: a cup body (61) having a cylindrical side wall part (61b) and a bottom wall part (61a) that closes one axial-direction end of the cylindrical side wall part (61b); and a cover body (62) that is attached to an opening end of the cup body (61), which is the other axial-direction end thereof, so as to close the opening end. The bottom wall part (61a) of the cup body (61) is disposed on the igniter (40) side, and the cover body (62) is disposed on the filter (90) side.
