The gas-insulated switchgear according to an embodiment has a plurality of bus lines and a bus-line-side disconnector/ground switch unit. The bus-line-side disconnector/ground switch unit is connected to the plurality of bus lines, and an insulating gas is sealed thereinside. The bus-line-side disconnector/ground switch unit has a plurality of disconnectors and a terminal cover. The plurality of disconnectors are respectively connected to the plurality of bus lines. The plurality of disconnectors and the terminal cover are isolated into mutually different insulating gas zones. The plurality of bus lines have a first bus line and a second bus line. The plurality of disconnectors have a first disconnector connected to the first bus line and a second disconnector connected to the second bus line. The bus-line-side disconnector/ground switch unit has a ground switch. The ground switch is connected between the first disconnector and the terminal cover and between the second disconnector and the terminal cover. The ground switch is isolated into an insulating gas zone different from the first disconnector, the second disconnector, and the terminal cover.
