Abstract:
Disclosed is a gas introducing device for a bioreactor. The bioreactor has a tank body for holding a mixed solution of animal cells and liquid. The gas introducing device comprises a gas distributor configured to immerse in the mixed solution of the tank body and comprising a gas distributor body and a diaphragm supported by the gas distributor body, the gas distributor body having a gas introducing groove, and the diaphragm being configured to dissolve the gas in the gas introducing groove into the mixed solution in a bubble-free manner; a gas inlet unit in fluid communication with the gas introducing groove and configured to convey inlet gas to the gas introducing groove; and a gas exhaust unit in fluid communication with the gas introducing groove and configured to exhaust the undissolved gas in the gas introducing groove from the gas distributor body. The gas introducing device greatly enhances the monitoring level of the bioreactor on oxygen consumption rate in the biological process.
