Title:
GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR AND SAMPLE COLLECTION METHOD USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/053515
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of gas-liquid separators for separating fluid in a supercritical fluid device into liquid and gas and quickly discharging the separated liquid, and provides a gas-liquid separator (10) having a double-pipe structure of an outer pipe (12) and an inner pipe (14). An injection port for injecting fluid from the outside into the inside is provided in the inner wall at the upper end of the outer pipe (12). A release port (12A) for releasing the liquid separated from the fluid is provided at the lower end of the outer pipe (12). The lower end of the inner pipe (14) is open inside the outer pipe (12). The upper end of the inner pipe (14) has an exhaust port (14B) that passes through the closed upper end of the outer pipe (12) and exhausts the gas separated from the fluid. A discharge port for discharging the solvent from the outside into the inside is provided in the inner wall at the upper end of the outer pipe (12) separately from the fluid injection port. The injection port and the discharge port are arranged so that the gas portion of the injected fluid descends while swirling in the internal space between the outer pipe and the inner pipe, and the liquid portion of the injected fluid and the discharged solvent mainly descend along the inner wall of the outer pipe (12).
