Abstract:
Provided is a gas sensor system capable of diagnosing a failure of a DA conversion circuit. The present disclosure relates to a gas sensor control device that is connected to a gas sensor provided with a solid electrolyte body, and a pump cell including a first pump electrode and a second pump electrode which are disposed spaced apart from one another on the solid electrolyte body. The gas sensor control device is provided with: a DA conversion circuit for supplying the pump cell with a pump current having a magnitude corresponding to an input digital signal; a reference potential generating circuit for maintaining the potential of the first pump electrode at a reference potential; a diagnostic resistor connected in parallel with the pump cell; and an output unit for outputting to an external device a signal relating to a voltage applied to the diagnostic resistor when an arbitrarily defined digital signal is input into the DA conversion circuit, on the condition that no oxygen ion conductivity is manifested in the pump cell.
