Abstract:
Provided is a gas sensor that has high sensitivity and responds at high speed. The gas sensor 1 is provided with sensitive parts 20 and a plurality of electrodes 21 arranged via the sensitive parts 20. The sensitive parts 20 each include an ionic liquid and are configured so that the electrical resistance thereof changes in response to adsorption of gas molecules G. The ionic liquid preferably includes a hydrophobic anion. The hydrophobic anion preferably includes an organic fluorine compound. The organic fluorine compound preferably has a trifluoromethyl group.
