A gas separation membrane, a gas separation module that uses the gas separation membrane, a gas separation device, and a gas separation method, the gas separation membrane having a gas separation layer containing polybenzoxazole resin, wherein the polybenzoxazole exhibits solubility of 1 mass% or more in a solvent selected from tetrahydrofuran, chloroform, methylethylketone, and N-methylpyrrolidone at a temperature of 30°C.
