Abstract:
A gas shield jig that is provided on a torch for gas shield welding for welding in a shield gas atmosphere and that shields the periphery of a weld from the atmosphere includes a support portion fixed to the torch, a skeletal member held by the support portion in an elastically deformable manner and arranged around the torch, and a seat member covering the skeletal member and surrounding the torch. The skeletal member is shaped in such a manner as to flare from a torch base end side toward a torch end side along an axis of the torch. The seat member has an opening at the torch base end side.
