Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a gas-spring stop that facilitates attachment to/detachment from a gas spring and for which a storage location when detached is not problematic. [Solution] The present invention is characterized by comprising: a first stop piece 20 and a second stop piece 30 obtained by dividing a cylindrical body lengthwise; and a hinge part 40. The present invention is also characterized in that the first stop piece 20 and the second stop piece 30 are each provided with: a first support piece 22, 32 that abuts on a joint part 106 that is located at the tip end of the rod part 102 among a rod part 102 and a cylinder part 104 that constitute a gas spring 100; a second support piece 24, 34 that abuts on an end surface of the cylinder part 104; and a support-piece main unit 36 that covers the lateral surface of the rod part 102 between the first support pieces 22, 32 and the second support pieces 24, 34.
