Abstract:
There is provided a gas tube arrestor capable of judging outgassing visually by providing a wall for airtightly enclosing a space defined by a plurality of electrodes, gas encapsulated in the enclosed space, and a marker provided in the enclosed space to be discolored by reacting on outer air. Especially, the gas tube arrestor comprises a transparent gas tube for enclosing the plurality of electrodes and rare gas, and a marker in the transparent gas tube to be discolored irreversibly by reacting on oxygen. When the rare gas in the gas tube is outgassed and outer gas containing oxygen is mixed into the gas tube, the marker in the gas tube is discolored by reacting on oxygen. Thus, outgassing from the gas tube can be judged visually.
