Title:
GAS TURBINE COOLING STATIONARY VANE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1998/034013
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A gas turbine cooling stationary vane which is capable of meeting high temperature requirements by using air cooling for a portion which can be dealt with by air cooling, and using steam cooling for a portion which is hard to be dealt with by air cooling. Formed inside a stationary vane (1) are a serpentine flow passage (3), through which steam for cooling flows, and an air flow passage (10) which is adjacent to a trailing edge and is separate from the serpentine flow passage (3). Also, formed on an outer shroud (4) are an air cooling flow passage (16) at an outer edge, and a steam impingement cooling section (17) and an air impingement cooling section (18) inside the air cooling flow passage. Provided on an inner shroud (11) are an air cooling flow passage (19) at the outer edge and a shaped hole (20) inside thereof. Air supplied from the shaped hole (20) performs a film cooling action.
