Abstract:
A gas turbine system 100 comprises: an ammonia supply source 1; a gas turbine 4 including a combustor 42 that is connected to the ammonia supply source 1 and that burns ammonia from the ammonia supply source 1; a water electrolysis device 6 that is driven by electric power generated by the output of the gas turbine 4 to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen; a hydrogen tank 7 that stores the hydrogen generated by the water electrolysis device 6 and that is fluid communication with the combustor 42; and a control device 90 that controls the supply of hydrogen from the hydrogen tank 7 to the combustor 42. The supply of hydrogen to the combustor 42 begins when the gas turbine 4 is started.
