Abstract:
Provided is an elongated gasket (40) configured to be sandwiched and held between two objects that face each other. Where the sandwiching-and-holding direction is defined to be the thickness direction, a direction perpendicular to the sandwiching-and-holding direction is defined to be the length direction, and a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction and the length direction is defined to be the width direction. The gasket comprises: a plurality of cylindrical sections (41) arranged side-by-side in the width direction; and plate-shaped sections (42) that are provided between adjacent cylindrical sections (41) among the plurality of cylindrical sections (41) and that connect the adjacent cylindrical sections (41). Each of the plurality of cylindrical sections (41) extends in the length direction, and portions on both sides of the plurality of cylindrical sections (41) in the thickness direction form abutment sections (41b, 41c) with respect to the two objects, respectively.
