Abstract:
This gate device is arranged between a first space, where people wait to go through, and a second space, where people have already gone through, and is provided with a gate main body which is arranged along the path a person in the first space takes to move to the second space, and a shutter which opens or blocks the path. Furthermore, in plan view, the width in the short direction of the gate main body at a first end located on the first space side is less than the width in the short direction at a second end located on the second space side.
