Abstract:
A gate driving circuit 20 is used to drive the gate of an IGBT 1 on the basis of a gate driving signal Son and a driving ability adjustment signal Sdx that sets the gate driving ability. A gate voltage detecting circuit 30 is used to detect that the gate voltage Vg of the IGBT 1 has reached an ON-determination setting value and then output an ON-detection signal Vg. A control circuit 10 is used to calculate the ON gate driving time Ton and indicate the driving ability adjustment signal Sdx to the gate driving circuit 20 such that the ON gate driving time Ton matches a preset gate driving time setting value Tons.
