Abstract:
A gaze tracking method and apparatus, relating to the technical field of computer vision, and capable of effectively improving accuracy of visual axis direction estimation. The method comprises: obtaining a texture image and three-dimensional point cloud data of a user's face (S101); determining corneal center coordinates and eyeball center coordinates of user's eyes according to the texture image and the three-dimensional point cloud data (S102); determining an optical axis direction according to the corneal center coordinates and the eyeball center coordinates (S103); and determining a visual axis direction according to an angle difference between the optical axis direction and an optical visual axis direction (S104). By obtaining texture images and three-dimensional point cloud data, real-time tracking of user's gaze is achieved, and accuracy of optical axis direction determination is improved, thereby achieving accurate tracking of the visual axis direction, thus improving accuracy of eye control operation and interaction to a certain extent.
