Abstract:
A gear motor 100 comprises a speed reducer 8 filled with lubricating oil 8f, a motor 30, and an oil tank 40 connected to a lubricating oil-filled space 8s of the speed reducer 8. The oil tank 40 includes a facing side surface 42f facing an equipment-side side surface 10f of at least either the speed reducer 8 or the motor 30, and an outer side surface 42e facing the facing side surface 42f and located on the outer side of the oil tank 40. The facing side surface 42f and the outer side surface 42e are each a protruding curved surface protruding away from the equipment-side side surface 10f or a flat surface.
