A gear shifting method for a vehicle, an apparatus, and a vehicle, said vehicle comprising a first gear shift input apparatus and a second gear shift input apparatus arranged on a steering wheel or a steering column of the vehicle. The method comprises: detecting a current gear of the vehicle; and controlling the gear of the vehicle to be shifted from the current gear to a target gear on the basis of the detected current gear and according to a received signal of the first gear shift input apparatus and/or a signal of the second gear shift input apparatus as well as an auxiliary signal of the vehicle, the auxiliary signal comprising at least one among a push down signal of a brake pedal, a status signal of a driver side door, a rotational speed signal of the engine, and a vehicle speed signal. The gear shifting method for a vehicle can improve driving safety when shifting gears.
