Abstract:
A gel-like dentifrice composition which contains 40-60% by mass of (A) sorbitol, 0.1-1% by mass of (B) menthol, and 0.02-0.2% by mass of (C) N-ethyl-p-menthane-3-carboxamide so that the mass ratio (B)/(C) is 0.5 to 40, while containing no polishing agent. This gel-like dentifrice composition which additionally contains 0.01-0.1% by mass of (D) eugenol. A stickiness inhibitor for gel-like dentifrice compositions, which contains the above-described component (A) but does not contain a polishing agent, and which also contains the components (B) and (C), and preferably the component (D) additionally, while having the mass ratio (B)/(C) of 0.5 to 40. Consequently, the present invention is able to provide: a gel-like dentifrice composition which is suppressed in stickiness and has excellent feeling of use, while containing no polishing agent; and a stickiness inhibitor which is used for this gel-like dentifrice composition.
