Abstract:
 Provided is a gene targeting vector which enables highly efficient gene targeting. A gene targeting vector having a structure which sandwiches a positive selection marker between homologous DNA in the 5' upstream region of a target site and homologous DNA in the 3' downstream region of the target site, wherein a DNA sequence enabling bicistronic expression and a splice acceptor site are added 5' upstream of the positive selection marker, and a splice acceptor site is also added 5' upstream of the homologous DNA in the 5' upstream region of the target site.
