Abstract:
The present invention relates to a generation device which generates a media file in which virtual viewpoint image data, which is generated on the basis of image data obtained by capturing images of an object from a plurality of directions with a plurality of cameras, is stored, wherein the generation device acquires a virtual viewpoint parameter to be used for generating the virtual viewpoint image data. In addition, a replay device generates a media file in which the acquired virtual viewpoint parameter and the virtual viewpoint image data that is generated on the basis of the corresponding virtual viewpoint parameter are stored. Thereby, the usability related to the virtual viewpoint image can be improved.
