Abstract:
Provided is a generator that supplies power to a load, and is characterized by comprising: an engine; an alternator that is driven by the engine and outputs AC power; a converter that converts AC power output from the alternator to DC power; an inverter that converts, to AC power, the DC power converted by the converter and supplies the AC power to the load; and a control unit that variably controls, in accordance with the load, the value of the voltage to be output from the converter.
