Abstract:

The invention relates to a geotextile for reinforcement, for fighting erosion and for assisting with revegetation, based on natural or synthetic fibres and characterized in that:  the synthetic fibres are, at the very least, oxo-biodegradable and advantageously biodegradable,  and the geotextile is made of a knitted net (101, 102) obtained by warp knitting, especially on a Raschel knitting machine including the insertion of weft yarns, the fibres, tows or threads making up the net being interconnected by biodegradable binding threads (103).
