Abstract:
A gift card is used in which a specific ID is recorded in advance. When such a gift card is sold, either the nominal amount of the gift card or the ranks of purchasable commodities are related to the ID and they are stored in a server. The gift card is sent from the sender to the recipient, or user. When the user does the shopping through the Internet, the user can purchase a commodity of a price within the nominal amount or rank stored in the server, by using the ID of the gift card. Therefore, the recipient of the present can select a commodity, and the degree of freedom of selection of commodity can be remarkably enhanced without using any printed catalogue.
