A GIL power transmission system, power transmission line and grounding switch. The GIL power transmission system comprises a power transmission line, the power transmission line comprising a sleeve and a power transmission conductor provided within the sleeve. On the power transmission line is provided an earthed switch for, when the power transmission line disconnects, earthing the power transmission conductor, then releasing an induction current and induction voltage on the power transmission conductor. By means of the grounding switch, when the GIL power transmission line experiences a fault and disconnects, the invention can timely connect the power transmission conductor to ground, thereby timely releasing the induction current and induction voltage on the power transmission conductor, avoiding damage to an apparatus caused by the induction current and induction voltage on the power transmission conductor, and enabling the safe operation of the entire GIL power transmission system.
