Abstract:
This glass article manufacturing device (11) is provided with a rotation mechanism (12) which rotates a glass tube (G1) and a heating device (14) which heats the glass tube (G1). In the glass article manufacturing device (11), a gripping mechanism (15) which grips the glass tube (G1) is moved by a movement mechanism (16) in the direction for pulling off the end of the glass tube (G1), thereby fuse-cutting the glass tube (G1). By fusion-cutting the glass tube (G1) during operation of a blowing device (17) that blows air towards the inside of the glass tube (G1), the glass article manufacturing device (11) ensures an open state of the end surface formed by fusion-cutting of the glass tube (G1).
