Provided are: a glass composition with which low-temperature sealing is possible without containing environmentally harmful lead; and a sealing material using the same. The glass composition is characterized by containing 2-30 mole% of ＴｉＯ２, 10-80 mole% of ＴｅＯ２ and 5-60 mole% of ＭｏＯ３.
