Abstract:
The present application provides a glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate material, and a preparation method and application thereof. The glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 40-95 parts polycarbonate, 1-40 parts alkali-free glass fiber, and 1-40 parts porous glass fiber; the mass percent content of SiO2 in the porous glass fiber is greater than or equal to 95%. The present application pairs a low-dielectric-loss alkali-free glass fiber with porous glass fiber and modifies a polycarbonate, thereby comprehensively improving the dielectric properties, mechanical properties and machinability of the material. The material has good machining properties, a lower dielectric loss and dielectric constant, and achieves a performance balance across multiple aspects such as excellent dielectric performance, machinability, comprehensive mechanical performance, etc., and can satisfy requirements in fields such as high-frequency communication devices, automobile parts, electric appliances, etc.
