Abstract:
In this glass gob molding device (1): a supply flow path connected to a gas supply unit is branched toward a plurality of molding molds (102A, 102B); each branch flow path (106aA, 106aB) after being branched is brought into communication with a group of through holes (102H) by being connected to the corresponding glass molding mold (102A, 102B); and a throttle part (118A, 118B) that throttles each branch flow path (106aA, 106aB) is provided in each branch flow path (106aA, 106aB). The cross-sectional area (S1) of the branch flow path throttled by the throttle part (118A, 118B) is smaller than the sum (W) of the cross-sectional areas of the respective through holes appearing in the cross section when the group of through holes (102H) is cut along a direction orthogonal to the axial direction. With this glass gob molding device (1), it is possible to make molten glass float stably in each glass molding mold.
