Abstract:
The present invention provides a glass slide storage rack (400) that stores a glass slide (800) on which a biological specimen has been mounted, the storage rack being provided with: a case having a storage space that stores a plurality of the glass slides, and having an opening on the front surface thereof; and a plurality of pairs of arm members (420) that partition the inside of the storage space into a plurality of tiers along the vertical direction, and that are separated from one another by a prescribed distance along a second direction that is oriented from one side surface of the case toward another side surface thereof, wherein each glass slide is stored in the storage space by being laid between the pairs of arm members, the arm members each protrude from the opening of the case, and the lengths of the arm members in a first direction that is oriented from the back surface of the case toward the front surface thereof differ in each tier.
