Abstract:
A circular glass substrate having a first and a second main surface facing each other and an edge between the two main surfaces and having a notch in part of the edge, wherein the specific gravity is 3.00 or more, the radius r is 75 mm or more, the refractive index nd is 1.800 or more, the ratio (Tf/Tg) of the fictive temperature Tf (°C) and the glass transition temperature Tg (°C) is less than 1.00, λ70 is 425 nm or less when the lowest wavelength at which the internal transmittance becomes 70% in the relationship of the internal transmittance to the wavelength is taken to be λ70, and the ratio (g/r) of the deviation (mm) of the center of gravity G of the glass substrate relative to the center P of the glass substrate in top view and the radius r is in the range of 0.05-1.2%.
