Abstract:
A glass suitable for chemically toughening has the following composition: 55-60wt% of SiO2, 0.1-2.5 wt% of B2O3, 11-16 wt% of Al2O3, 14-17 wt% of Na2O, 1-8 wt% of K2O, 0-8 wt% of ZrO2, 0-5 wt% of CaO, 0-5 wt% of MgO, and 0-1 wt% of Sb2O3. When the treatment temperature is 380-500°C and the treatment time is 4-12 hours during the process of toughening, the surface compressive stress of the glass can be 610-1100MPa and the thickness of stressed layer of the glass can be 31-80μm. The glass thus obtained is suitable for producing mobile phone panel and PDA panel.
