Abstract:
Provided are glasses such that the field of view of the eyes is broadened and eye tension is mitigated. The glasses (10) contain: a bridge (16) for linking two lenses (12); and bumps (18) that support temples (30). The glasses contain: an upper rim member (20) that is formed along the top edge of the lenses (12) and is interposed between the bumps (18) and the bridge (16) along the top of the eyes when worn; and/or a lower rim member (22) that is formed along the bottom edge of the lenses (12) and is interposed between the bumps (18) and the bridge (16) along the bottom of the eyes when worn. The upper rim member (20) and/or the lower rim member (22) are formed in a manner so as to become distant from the bridge (16) and bumps (18), eliminating a portion of the frame (14) from the lens (12), broadening the field of view of the eyes, and mitigating eye muscle tension.
