Abstract:
A golf playing toy, which is not dangerous even when it is swung, and gives us a feeling as if it hits a golf ball, even when it hits at the air, comprising a golf club-shaped body having a relatively short shaft portion (12) formed at one end thereof with a grip (11), and a relatively large head portion (13) provided at the other end of the shaft portion (12), wherein the shaft portion (12) has a hollow portion (24) which receives therein a rigid body (26) movable in a lengthwise direction, the hollow portion (24) is provided with a rigid body engaging portion (23) capable of engaging with the rigid body (26) and disposed in a position toward the grip (11), and a rigid body striking portion (25), against which the rigid body (26) strikes, and which is disposed in a position near the head portion (13), and engagement of the rigid body (26) by the rigid body engaging portion (23) can be released when a player grasps the grip (11) to swing.
