Abstract:
A gps-based drowsy driving determination method and apparatus, and a smart device. The method comprises: receiving position data transmitted from a GPS module, and storing, in a specified storage unit (220), N position data that are received for N most recent instances, N being a natural number greater than or equal to 2; starting an accumulative driving timer, and then starting timing by means of the accumulative driving timer; during the timing process of the accumulative driving timer, reading N position data from the specified storage unit (220) at a first preset interval, and comparing the currently read N position data to the N position data read in the last instance so as to determine whether the two groups of data are consistent; if determined inconsistent, continuing timing by means of the accumulative driving timer; and issuing a drowsy driving alarm signal when the timing time of the accumulative driving timer reaches a first time threshold.
