Abstract:
The present invention provides: a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which has excellent film adhesion; and a method for producing this grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet. A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet according to the present invention sequentially has a forsterite film and an insulating film from the surface side of the steel sheet; and the frequency of occurrence (cracks/mm) of cracks that penetrate the insulating film in a region within 100 µm from the edge of the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet in the sheet width direction toward the center in the sheet width direction is not more than 3.0 times the frequency of occurrence (cracks/mm) of cracks that penetrate the insulating film in a region more than 100 µm but not more than 500 µm from the edge toward the center in the sheet width direction.
