Abstract:
This grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises a base steel sheet and an insulating coating film that is formed on the surface of the base steel sheet. The insulating coating film comprises: an intermediate layer that is formed on the base steel sheet side and that contains a crystalline metal phosphate salt; and a tension coating layer that is formed on the surface side of the insulating film. The intermediate layer has an average thickness of 0.10 μm to 5.0 μm, and the area coverage ratio by the intermediate layer with respect to the base steel sheet is 40% to 90%. The crystalline metal phosphate salt in the intermediate layer is one or more selected from zinc phosphate, manganese phosphate, iron phosphate and zinc calcium phosphate. The tension coating layer contains a metal phosphate salt and silica; and the content of the silica in the tension coating layer is 20% to 60% by mass.
