Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet with low iron loss that does not have a forsterite coating (glass coating) and is heat-resistant domain-controlled. A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet according to the present invention comprises: no forsterite coating on the surface of a base steel sheet; a tension coating (insulation coating); a plurality of grooves on the surface; and a SiO2 intermediate layer and an insulation coating in this order on the surface of the steel sheet, the tension coating having a coating tension of 10 MPa or greater. The grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet further comprises a SiO2 internally oxidized layer immediately below the surface of the base steel sheet. The recess-protrusion of the surface of the steel sheet and the internally oxidized layer is between 0.001 µm and 0.100 µm both inclusive.
