Abstract:
A graphene- and in-situ nano ZrB2 particle-reinforced aluminum-based composite material and a preparation method therefor, an aluminum alloy is heated and melted, then potassium fluoroborate and potassium fluorozirconate are added for in-situ generation of ZrB2 particles, a prepared mixture of copper-coated graphene and an aluminum powder is added, the components are stirred and uniformly dispersed by means of an electromagnetic field, the melt is subjected to ultrasonic treatment prior to casting to improve the dispersity of the in-situ nano ZrB2 particles and graphene nanosheets, the result is cast to form a casting, and an aluminum-based composite material synergistically reinforced by graphene and in-situ nano ZrB2 particles is prepared by means of rolling deformation after homogenization treatment. By using a reinforcer of nano ZrB2 generated in-situ in an aluminum alloy melt, the number of interfaces in the composite material is increased, dislocation density is increased, stress concentration caused by graphene in graphene-reinforced aluminum-based composite materials is reduced, and the problem of low plasticity in graphene-reinforced aluminum-based composite materials is effectively solved.
