Abstract:
A graphical user interface device comprises a layout manager (2) for determining the size, layout, and angle of a target widget so that the display area of the target widget on a display screen is expanded and determining the size, layout, and angles of non-target widgets other than the target widget so as to suit the remaining display area of the display screen and a coordinate transformation manager (4) for transforming the coordinate of the logical space in the widget the size, layout, and angle of which have been determined by the layout manager (2) into the coordinate of a desktop space, and draws the widget transformed into the coordinate of the desktop space on the display screen.
