Abstract:
A grasping system comprising a hand mechanism with which a bag-shaped object filled with fluid is stably grasped. The tips of pressing fingers of the hand mechanism are brought into contact with the bag-shaped object and pressed into the bag-shaped object, and subsequently, when the pressure detected by a pressure detection unit provided on one of the pressing fingers or any one of the pressures detected by pressure detection units provided on the pressing fingers is equal to or higher than a predetermined pressure, a grasping operation, which is an operation for pinching the bag-shaped object with at least two fingers of a plurality of fingers of the hand mechanism, is executed in a state in which the pressing fingers are pressed into the bag-shaped object.
