Abstract:

Disclosed is a grease composition for automobile wheel bearings which contains an urea thickener (a) represented by the general formula (1) below, an organic molybdenum compound (b) and a base oil (c). R₁-NHCONH-R₂-NHCONH-R₃ (1) (In the formula, R₁ and R₃ may be the same as or different from each other and respectively represent an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-12 carbon atoms, and R₂ represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-15 carbon atoms.) Such a grease composition enables to prolong flaking life and lubrication life, while reducing fretting.
